What We Believe
THE APOSTLES’ CREED
We believe in God the Father,
Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, dead and buried
The third day he rose again from the dead
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he shall come to judge
the living and the dead
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy universal church
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins
the resurrection of the body
and life everlasting
While The Apostles Creed describe the universal belief of all followers of Jesus, we are EVANGELICAL in our specific beliefs. This means we hold to:
Sola-fide = By Faith Alone. Salvation is obtained only through faith in the person and work of Jesus.
Sola-Scriptura = By Scripture Alone. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and as such, it is the final authority on truth and life.

How We Live Out Our Beliefs
THE WAY OF JESUS
Very recently, our denomination has developed seven sayings that describe our simple journey with Jesus. It is called “The Way of Jesus.” These 7 sayings are meant to be memorized, lived out and prayed through as a regular habit of the follower of Jesus. They are centering statements that help us to practically live out our faith. They are anchors that holds life grounded on what it means to follow Jesus.
